There must be something about the environment at Intel that allowed these guys to perform, since they obviously haven't at AMD.

I just finished listening to AMD's conference call. Jerry said that he was "very confident" in AMD's capability to ramp up the 0.25 micron process successfully. If I remember correctly, he said the same thing for the 0.35 micron process awhile ago.

Since his staff has been unable to justify his confidence in the 0.35 micron ramp, I'm curious why he is so confident in the 0.25 micron ramp. Has he got someone new on board, or is AMD working with the same guys that did so well before?
