Manafart was indicted and arrested for committing crimes. He was presumed innocent and released on bail. The first thing he did upon release was to make repeated efforts to suborn perjury from several others to hide his crime. That's why he's in jail now. Fact is, he's way safer from the Putin/FatRump hitmen while he's in jail than he would be if he was on the street, he knows it and is thankful for it. He's cooperating with Mueller now, to try to salvage something out of the ruined life he and the Fatrump Crime Syndicate have made for himself. That's how FatRumpLickers roll!
