And one that didn't meet estimates...

Analysts INternational (ANLY) got creamed today, with some recovery, on the news that they missed estimates by 1 cent. Buried in the article was a mention that y2k related revenues for 6 months was 20 million.

Now, 20 million is a pittance relative to people's expectaitons of where y2k revenues should be, and it reprsents a small fraciton of ANLY's revenues. I think ANLYs early collapse today was not just an tiny eanrings disappointment, it was a yk2 disappointment as well.

I still feel confident that the big spending will start this year, but I expect some short term heat on y2k stocks because of ANLY results. Parenthetically, I do not consider SEECs earnings to be "blowout" by an stretch of the imagination, Starting from a base of 300K, anything over a million would look fantastic. Realistically, 8 million in revenues compared to the scope of the problem is peanuts. And SEEC sells at 10 times sales now. I wouldn't touch that stock with a 10 foot pole...or a ten foot swede. TPRO looks reasonable by comparison.
