Hi Kirk; Thanx I did put the midi at the bottom of the html,
hoping that it wouldn't slow the page. I also cut the .jpg and
gifs as small as I felt I could afford, at the loss of some quality
to try to keep the page fast.
All the links you gave me are nice and clean and load fast too.
Man I can't belive how so many page writers trash up a page,
they don't know about foreigners at all. Japanese are very
very senistive to speed, ISP time is not near as cheap for them,
People writing html should take heed , big clunkers are not
going to be popular. Cean fast pages that link to others
work. Man If I get hung up in a frame thats trying to get through all
the trafic I'm gone. One cookie is enough too..more than that and
I deleat the url, I don't need info from dead heads that are
insenitive to my time.
-----------------------
I'm like your parents I guess when it comes to not needing the
$10000 box, or even a fancy car, just give me a ISP I can hook to "when I want to," also I refuse to even visit AOL, but will at times e-mail some poor sap who is stuck with them.
-----------------------------
Last I'm moving more in the direction of "baskets" WEBs , CEs
no loads, and market timing..picking stocks takes to much time
to let me focas on what I can do best..market timing is or at
least is becoming my niche when it comes equities.
As I devest what indivual stocks I have I do not intend to turn
back even once, I've seen the light in market timing and can
dance in and out of no loads with out even a charge.
I go beyond what Hagan seems to explain..setting up
with a fund..I buy noloads direct from my broker, "waterhouse"
who is getting a fee from the fund and chages me none. My order
goes in with a basket of orders and the shares stay at Waterhouse,
FUNDs hate market timers, but I'm in and out like a thief and
they never know I visited. There is a limit of three visits to a
fund in six months without a charge, but there are plenty to
pick from so that's no problem.
Jim
