We just got back from an 8 day cruise and we ate like there was no tomorrow...

So, since this past Sunday I began what I would call an "off the grid" diet, i just completed day 4...

I feels as if I already lost all the weight from the cruise and thensome, I've not yet stepped onto the scale since we've been back but I find it's not necessary, I can tell what and how I feel just by what and how I feel...

My off the grid diet means for breakfast I have some fruit, cheese, nuts, and some breakfast sausage or ham...

For lunches I've been having some grapes...

For dinner I have an apple and some pretzels...

After only 4 days I feel as if I've already lost a considerable amount of weight and I don't feel hungry...

In the morning when I get up, I do feel hungry, but after a good fruit and cheese and nuts breakfast along with some protein I'm pretty much good for the day...

Also, I drink plenty of water, that's a must in order to stay hydrated and also to flush out all the toxins from the system...

GZ

2019-01-01 @ 244-pounds . . . Happy New Year !!!

WoW! .. not a very good Holiday Season since mid-November ... weight-wise anyway.
BUT .. it has motivated me to be more determined than ever in changing my lifestyle of eating.
I have decided that the best way to change is to go all out - Zero Carbs.
Allowing myself carbs here and there and treats and rewards has only kept me enticed and desiring breads and grains here and there . . . which is my ultimate downfall.
I am hoping that going NO Carbs will end my cravings and desires and allow me to live a much healthier life.
There is also much data and many studies showing that animal products contain the best form of most vitamins and no negative effects like vegetables and grains.
SO . . I am sticking HARD to this for the month of January and will see how I feel.
As usual, I will report here every Monday as I go through this.
Looking forward to and wishing you all a fantastic 2019 !!!!
