Rocky,
<In fact, I believe a shareholder lawsuit could be in the not-too-distant future for IOM. A lawsuit that would immediately call for a 2-1 or 3-1 reverse split.>

You own some now....will you join???

RE: The Rocky Lawsuit.

Rocky rambles on about...

>> In fact, I believe a shareholder lawsuit could be in the not-too-distant future for IOM. A lawsuit that would immediately call for a 2-1 or 3-1 reverse split. <<

Let's just reverse them all. Let's see:

4:3
3:1
2:1
2:1

That's 8:1 overall. We could do a 1:8 reverse split, which would raise the price to $96 and drop the shares to 35 million outstanding.

Nah, I think I would rather just wait for it to hit $96 without a reverse split...

Forgive me Allen for this --- Rocky, let's see if I understand this:

You don't own AOL yet you think it's the greatest stock in the world.

You own Iomega but you think it's the worst stock in the world.

This is one fantastic investment strategy. Why don't you write a book?

How bout this for a title "Exploring my Genius"

As for a shareholder lawsuit --- I'm afraid that all the shareholder lawsuit attorneys are busy preparing a case against Syquest.

As for MM insulting your imaginary girlfriend -- dating you must be insult enough for any woman, plastic or not.

I hope that you don't take this post as a personal attack. Actually, on second thought, who cares if you do.

Rock; The ONLY reason AOL went to 93 is because I finally jumped in early today and shorted it. As soon as I cover it will tank.

I notice that the much-loved-by-the-street INTC closed down 1/2. But the despised-by-the-street IOM closed unchanged (down a teenie in after-hours)

Much more of that kind of love, and INTC will need a couple million units of penicillin.

Rock, how are your 'charts' looking on INTC? Can you see the bottom yet?

RE: Dell and AOL

AOL and Dell are two stocks that I think will lose favor in 1998. Here is my prediction...

YE 1998

Dell $50s
AOL $40s .

Note: These prices do not reflect any future splits.

No models, no number crunching, just a gut feeling.

Later,

John

<<In fact, I believe a shareholder lawsuit could be in the not-too-distant future for IOM. A lawsuit that would immediately call for a 2-1 or 3-1 reverse split.>> Hey, it's early Saturday morning and I'm in a great mood! So, Rockman, tell me the relevant federal statutes which you would rely on to seek a reverse split as damages, and the grounds you would allege in your complaint. Would you be seeking class action status?

BTW, I'm STILL waiting for that AOL chart read!!!!

One other thing - if you're still doing plastic, switch to the real thing. Much better!
