Hi Tom,

Yes I guess you are right after all. I thought there were some implicit problems in the tm_year struct; but seeing your code working I guess it is not such a big issue after all.

However, like you I expect that UNIX/C programming y2k problems are underestimated. E.g. just think of determining whether it is a leap year or not; that can be coded in C the wrong way just as in Cobol.
