Personally, I'm still an SVHS guy - until prices plummet. I'm really waiting for recordable and rewritable DVD. Regards BTW, prices on SVHS recorders are great now. And as I discovered before buying one five years ago you do not need to buy $10 blank SVHS tapes. You can take a regular VHS tape and drill one simple hole in the back and the recorder treats it the same as a SVHS tape - with the same quality.
