Didn't mean to reinvent the wheel on Econ 101, but it is worth remembering when everyone is trashing the drilling stocks and assuming their business will dry up with falling oil prices.
Actually, the surprising place where the Econ 101 theory doesn't seem to work as well is stock prices where people get more excited and eager to buy as prices go up and more fearful and reluctant to buy as prices fall. Go figure.
