Father Terrence,

You are correct on all counts. However, I had not connected the name of G. Elizabeth's dealership/factory with Ayn Rand.

I had heard that he/she was using the money from the scam to further his/her medical procedures to make the transition from he to she. I heard also that changing from he to she was an attempt at disguise to further evade the long arm of the law, as the Dale had not been his/her first scam.

Yup, the populace is way overdue for uprising and revolt, especially in the touchy-feely State of California, a place I am finding increasingly stifling and oppressive.

Something nearly everyone seems to overlook is that once the tobacco users have been taxed and edicted out of existence, California (and other governing bodies) will need another plump target to justify their existence.

Another point is that when all the tobacco users have been wiped from the face of the earth we still will have disease and death. Sir Jonathan Miller, the British physician and playright, put it quite aptly when he said that too many people are overly concerned with preserving their lives and not enough with living them. So, lighten up y'all, and as we say in the stock market, "Enjoy the ride."
