Right on Chris, Mary you are out of line on this thread. Dell has had problems with their CS, as my brother can testify too. CPQ has its share of problems but not CS. CPQ maybe 33.75 on the close 1/22/97.

Sorry, but I disagree. This thread is here to discuss Compaq, it's stock and it's business which the stock is based on. I'm sure you don't want to see anything negative about this company in this thread. But before telling Mary that a message about Compaq in a Compaq thread doesn't belong there, tell everyone that posts messages completely off subject that their messages don't belong in this thread.

I have heard many many complaints from people that I know about how bad Compaq customer service is. I was very surprised to see them get Call Center of the Year. Maybe they have improved. I sure hope so, because I am LONG!

All of this, of course, IMHO!

Please tell me where these message boards are. They are not at the Compaq site. My friend asked the service rep to let her speak with the supervisor but, was told he was not authorized to do that. So, my friend is totally frustrated. Think about it, this problem has been unresolved since June 1997. Sorry to interrupt your group with customer relations problems of a publically traded company. Mary

PS. Another friend had a problem with her new Micron and the problem was resolved in 3 days.
