Did anyone notice this?
infoworld.com

Seems rather harsh, even by Microsoft standards. And yet another way to piss-off more people...

Dan,

Come on, you talk about politics all the time <gg>. As far as MO is concerned, I've never mentioned the company on SI that I can recall. I do fire up a Marlboro while guzzling a six of MGD so I'm glad to be helping out your home state economy while shortening my life span. On the subject of tobacco, don't you find it a bit hypocritical for the govt to be subsidizing the growers and raking in piles of tax dollars while pontificating on the evils of indulgence and extorting additional large quantities of dinero through lawsuits? The funny thing is that if tobacco was made illegal and MO, RJR, etc., went out of business, the billions in tax revenue would disappear and the profits would go to the same folks who bring us smokes of a different flavor. Anyway, if smokers, including yours truly, want to kill themselves, that's a free choice.

I have a tremendous respect for our constitution. The Declaration of Indepedence is one of the coolest, most radical statements for freedom that I have ever read. I do have a feeling that crafting such a document today would get the authors a tag of subversives or right wing militia nuts. There are aspects of our government that do deserve respect. I'm not a complete anarchist <g>. But there is much that stinks on the banks of the Potomac and it ain't gonna change unless people demand it.

BTW, isn't this an IE vs. Nav forum? I apologize for digressing and promise to only post on topic in the future. I think I'll check out the MSFT vs. DOJ thread tomorrow. It's Friday night and I'm outta here.

Regards, JB
