Hi "Old Timer" (re: collecting the best posts of the past)

The information is not yet available, and a worthy project
it is! I went through messages 1000 to 1199 and came up
with more than 1 page of great "piont and click" information.

New commers would consiter it a gold mine of instant
gratification, and it would give continued value to important
posts that are otherwise lost.

Since Milk is under "heavy load" I felt guilty to send my
culling results till I could find the easiest possible way
for him to view them for his judgement and use. Since then
time has been short for me to do that. I will give it
top priority asap (couple of days).

It's nice to be among friends with the same concern!
Perhaps something can be organised soon. Post ideas for the
search. (but ignore 1000 - 1199, they have been gone through
and will be humbly offered to Milk and here on the thread
for others to see as an offered example.)

(Viewing the 200 posts took a couple hours, but seeing the
results made it good clean fun. New viewers will quickly
"tune in" to the whole picture, and the end product will be
a great reference for us "old timers" as well!

your mentioning this is great news to me.
The idea grew from collecting questions to ask Jack Arnold)

Jim,
Thanks for your comments. I agree, it would be great if thread members submitted their favorite posts for the webpage. We just have to remember the page was intended to be a quick reference tool, rather than another discussion board, and try to present facts, not opinions.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated! (I am now getting several email messages a day from non-members, I didn't expect to see so many people have interest in CVIA!)

I just bought a new computer, need to install some software on it, and transfer some stuff from my old PC, then I'll make a few changes on the webpage.

Best regards,
Milk
P.S. I've been receiving a lot of email from non-members - THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT, EVERYONE!
