Jay, you must ride your winners longer than 1/8. Cut your losers fast. Yes, only the extremely sharp will survive.

I think your analysis clearly indicates this.

There are all sorts of traders. I met one trader at an office(not Block) who traded for 1/8th. He put on over 200 trades a day. This office would not let me trade my system. Personnally I don't see how anyone could do this over a long period of time, but he does! Alot of the traders I have met, fade all moves. I heard of people who just trade common vs. warrants in the same stock. There are alot of ways to play the game. Find one that that fits you - if you lose sleep over it : quit!

Commisions aren't cast in stone. Heavy volume traders do get breaks. Don't forget some of the ECN markets(non SOES) have additional costs.
