Dated link on gigabit & layer 3, but found it kind of interesting & a viewpoint I hadn't run into before...

...& found it somewhat amusing....at least give it a skim to the "Man who runs the internet" part & the the explanation of how ATM the plan of and is for folks who have thier kids program their VCRs while the other options is by and for those who gave grown up w/ tech...

...but then, I get an absurd enjoyment & occasional insights out of skimming older tech articles which talk about the coming new wave of tech...its not for everyone <g>.
