Two years ago I bought some of these stocks like Varco when they were trading in the single digits and god I thought I was smart I rode them long and then sold them when the fast money looked like it was moving in - of course I sold them way to early and missed out on some huge gains - last year I decided to buy some Canadian stocks because well they were trading a substantial discount to their American counterparts and even though I knew the gap would never completely fill up they still appeared extremely cheap. Well I have got my ass handed to myself over the last three months and these extremely cheap stocks have gotten even cheaper. IF you would have told me that PDS would trade to 18 I would have said your nuts. Just goes to show that even when you have done your homework you can still get really burned - Hold on to PDS - At this point it is so cheap I wish I worked at an LBO group because I would make a bid.
