Seems strange Darleen that Sears is taking such a hit in this area and yet I know of no other retailers even mentioning it. I'm still not sure I buy anyones inflation figures especially when the Fed is fixated on it.

Mr Hashimoto revealed in a speech in New York last June that during the
1995 dispute over US exports of cars and car parts to Japan, when he was
minister for international trade and industry, Japan was "tempted to
sell US Treasuries and buy gold".
