Re: Smart Money article: SF, Did anyone see what they had for AMAT as a forward p/e? 22 at the price of $29.75!!!!! This would mean they are using estimates of $1.35 for AMAT for FY98. The lowest projections I've seen are in the range of $1.69. How the he** do they come up with that #? Even with an eps of $1.35, they still rate AMAT a Buy. What would they rate it at these levels if management can meet or exceed their guidance of $2.08-$2.15?? Super Duper Strong Buy? Regards, Brian
