MW you have not accounted for the time spent by men on the game of force , might and denial of human rights .

Where they end up hating all other men who differ from them and attempt to destroy them before they are able to reason and respond . Kindness will be attacked and is most often caught off guard .

Girls and girly men spend less time in this quadrant and so you have the most wonderful ingenious creations by a few and girls picking up for lost time .

If you have ever seen 2 bulls in a field pushing on one another , the system of force has some very great flaws .

A summary of differences

steadyhealth.com

Given the differences, it seems folly to try and generalize with some blanket statement of who is or isn't smarter...let alone trying to quantify such a generalization.

If you want to talk about just brain size / number of neurons etc., a male wins by like an average of 4% because of the 3 years that you mention. But then again a human is beaten pretty handily by those measures by some animals that are considered to be less intelligent So I am not sure that it makes sense to go there...

--the evil allure of women--

hmmm...good luck with that, too. -g-

as far as chasing geese and shooting moons goes, we might include hubris in either direction, i suppose. though there is this 'meme' about disregard for expert position and how that, through inversion, 'adds value' to the simple rhetoric of persuasion...a perverse rhyme with the hey-lets-level-the-playing-field notion. odd times, these.

like you, i find some things less interesting than others....e.g., extra 3 years men get for development. but, since this exchange is somewhat enjoyable, a quick check finds a rather liberal reframing of something. seems some 'experts' are saying men are just less mature than women:
npr.org

...and seem to want to take away men's car keys or otherwise sensitize western culture with justification for young adult male irresponsibility. so, i see your rather liberal reframing of 'male immaturity' to 'extra brain development'. what more is there?

here's a stanford guy on sex difference and brain:

seems he wasn't too interested in the 3 year deal, either.
