ThrustMaster in the News is the correct (review) link.

thrustmaster.com however, this page does not have any reviews for Rage 3D, NASCAR Pro, Millennium Inceptor....??? Why would this link exist if it is this outdated? Huge conflicting signals with this company...HUGE.

The ThrustMaster straddle on multiplayer gaming: DirectConnect v. USB

Jan 1998 WINDOWS Magazine Front Cover feature:
"HOT or HYPE? TOP TECHNOLOGIES OF 1998"

USB-->HYPE "...Most new PCs come with USB ports...unfortunately, only a handful of USB peripheral devices have been delivered so far...where they command a premium price...Worse, the delay of Windows 98 and NT 5.0 exacerbate the lack of software support, since current Windows versions don't provide native support for USB...power usage is another story...still hype...most non-USB peripherals will keep USB an exception to the rule for much of 1998..."

Accordingly, in our opinion, expect XMAS 1998 to bring an abundance of Rage3D/DirectConnect multiplayer promoted bundles, possibly with (NYSE:CD)s NASCAR 3...we agree with The Red Chip Review's 11/24/97 TMSR report...TMSR is positioned for strong growth in 1998 and TMSRs straddle on multiplayer gaming could be a significant reason why...(note: TMSR has already delivered its first USB flightsticks to NEC (Q4) and expects to deliver USB wheels and gamepad(s) Q1 '98)
