Hi Liz - If I am understanding your question to me correctly you are asking how does ZEN take their product to market. I have been a sales rep for over 30 years and most companies selling a product don't do it by blogs. ZEN would need a person(s) in charge of sales and marketing and they would reach out to prospective buyers to sell their graphite. It could be somebody already working at ZEN or they could hire someone. That is my take.

How do we disseminate this news? You suggest we put out an NR. All well and good. Can you tell me what happens to it? I explained what I know about that. I’d like to hear what you know.
Liz

Morning Lizzie,

Steakhouse made good comments regarding sales and marketing and I think ZEN has staff who are marketing and reaching out to prospective buyers. I’ll take a different angle.

Similar to you I have chosen SI as my only posting board, once in a while I’ll check out Agoracom, usually only when someone here posts that an interesting piece has been posted there.

To give you my knowledge on what happens to NR’s; "They are posted and stored on the company’s website as well as Sedar where they can be accessed at any time." Either is where I go first when I’m researching a company. If the NR is of high importance (game changer) then the company should be paying for it to be communicated via respected media.

Press releases cost money so getting the best bang for your buck should obviously be your number one concern.

In this day and age social media plays a huge part in communications.

I’m providing two links to good articles I found that discuss how mining companies can/should use social media. Facebook, Twitter, Linkedln, Google and Reddit are just some venues available.

You also have industry focused sites that do cost money however they attract those who invest in mining. These sites are popular but can be pricey however IMO they should be utilized for game changing NR’s
