I wonder if they are also puzzled by prior break the Trump Admin. Gave ZTE? Did they throw a bone by allowing a favorable ruling in Qualcomm's bid to buy NXP if they so choose (Qualcomm Doesn't- it's over)?

Each has their own spin to please their constituencies.

Business will get done. The incremental advance of tariffs has been reversed - the needed bottom line for both of us.

In and amongst all of the confrontation is the awareness that fair and free trade will / can benefit both parties.

Reasonable people, equally informed , seldom disagree.

All long term business must be mutually beneficial to both parties.

Basic building blocks of commerce!
