Bezos: "We have now sent robotic probes to every planet in this solar system. Believe me, this (Earth) is the good one." I used to be on board with the Mars mission but with the seemingly insurmountable challenges (landing on Mars is difficult with an atmosphere too thin to slow you down, gravity field too weak to ever hold a heavy (life sustaining) atmosphere, human body not designed for deep space travel, etc) I’d rather focus on using our resources to protect and preserve our home here on the blue marble. I’m all for space exploration but let’s leave it to the robots.
