Anti-globalists? A manifestation (demonstration) has always been a regular occurrence in France. Class struggle in France is like eating or breathing - everyone does it, even if they won't admit it.

Myself and citizens of France don't like les Rue Payage when the Autobahn is free in Germany.

People who live in the countryside of Europe and need to drive long distances don't like people in big cities like Paris and Stockholm pushing up diesel fuel costs well above petrol, especially after the shift to diesel cars was government subsidized.

Living in France is not conducive to being happy, and being Catholic makes the French even more miserable.

Some people say the Voice of America is a propaganda outlet. I think I agree in this case. Trump appointees are erroneously viewing Europe through Trump-lenses. They'll all be in prison soon enough.

We were eating dinner in our favorite cafe, Le Capitole, in Juan les Pins and the waitress asked an older frequent customer how her dinner was. She replied, "On Manger" - "One must eat." . . . That's France. - tripadvisor.co.za

“Bien manger sans se ruiner” is their slogan

Hi el,

Yes, I am by no means a fan of the Paris climate agreement.

The news is doing a lousy job of detailing that France's tax increases were the result of the Paris Climate Agreement which taxes people based on carbon footprints CO2 production and the myth of global warming.

Macron and many European leaders are progressives and have never met a tax they have not loved.

The poor French are over taxed as it is. I don't blame them for being sick and tired of government redistributing their income - especially when it is based on bad science.

The inconvenient truth is the globe is entering a Grand Solar Minimum and is undergoing a cooling rather than a warming stage.

These corrupt politicians just want every one's income and they can decide who's vote they can buy with other's money.

They need to get voted out of power. Their nicely dressed thieves stealing working people's money! They are idiot's like Al Gore!!

I'll leave it there as it's already too political .

I do wish them all success in negating the errant taxation - it is in my opinion based on bad science!!

Macron needs to grow some balls and call it BS!
