You keep believing that load of crap Elroy.

France is the second highest taxed country in Europe.

The most recent tax was to be applied on gasoline and diesel fuel.

It was then going to be rebated back to french people who bought energy efficient appliances and accelerate the shuttering of coal electrical plants.

Now you can make a reference to some tax the rich scheme all you want but it blows your credibilty because it is FAKE news.

Here's the truth :

Protestors clash with police in Paris riots 9:10 AM ET Tue, 4 Dec 2018 | 01:11

Violent protest in Paris has left analysts contemplating what this could mean for embattled President Emmanuel Macron, amid a resurgence in populist politics ahead of European elections next year.

Images of riots, protests and violence over fuel tax rises in France have gripped the headlines in recent weeks and appeared to come to a head on Saturday.

Thousands of protesters hit the Paris streets with cars being torched, stores being looted and multiple injuries to both protesters and police. Here's what you need to know about the so-called "Yellow Vest" protests and what this means for Macron.

Why are people protesting?
The protests are essentially about recent tax hikes on fuel (gasoline and especially diesel) as part of the government's proposed carbon tax designed to improve its environmental credentials.

As for Trumps' taxes going to the rich - yes news flash - If you make a lot of money and you get 1/2 the tax breaks the lower income people did - yes you get more back in total dollars. Point of fact lower income people were give back twice as much as upper income people did on a percentage basis.

The standard deduction was doubled for everyone.

The progressive nature of the US tax system was kept in tact.

While the wealthy who generally have more expensive assets had a huge cap put on the amount of local sales taxes and real estate taxes that could be deducted (it was capped at 10,000). I n states where those taxes were in the past allowed as a deduction, upper income people are in fact paying more in taxes than before Trumps tax cuts.

You are so ill informed it is sad.

You been eating the pablum that progressives throw out there to foster division and class envy. The initial ingredients necessary for governmental theft of people's income and wealth redistribution by progressives to disenfranchise the American spirit in the pursuit excellence and financial success.

You should move to Euroland if that is such a panacea.

You mourn the dark days of Obama and his "fairer" world of wealth redistribution - that brilliance brought us a deficit that doubled in 8 years of unending bureaucracy and a whopping sub 2 percent growth.

Never has the US public been exposed to such outright lies by a completely discredited politician as Obama. Under Obamacare "You keep can keep your Doctor!", "It will save the average family $2500 a year!" He forgot to tell all the working stiffs that that was just the families that didn't work, while all the working folks saw their deductible quadruple and copays double.
You and you ilk are simply pathological liars, who humor themselves by saying things that sound nice - it just sad you are not smart enough to see that it just isn't true.

Wake up from your delusions and see the truth.

But then truth is just another inconvenient fact for the likes of you and your thieving likes who are not intelligent enough to discern it.

So you go ahead and call me names - make personal attacks at me and misrepresent the actuality of what is going on in France.

At gilets jaunes protests, the demand heard most frequently now is they want Macron to reimpose Holland's ISF "Solidarity Tax" (Impôt de solidarité sur la fortune) = BULL SHIT

It's a carbon tax on energy use you fool. You are once again sadly misinformed or just lying for some evil misrepresentation of the facts. No matter to me - You Elroy are FAKE NEWS

Labor unions successfully pressured the French government to roll back Paris’ carbon tax.

The French capital’s carbon tax, which has been in place since April, was intended to shut the last coal power plants down “by 2023 at the latest.” France’s environmental ministry is already attempting to get the European Union to re-institute a broader carbon tax.

France’s General Confederation of Labour (CGT) union opposes a carbon tax because it would shut down several coal power plants in Paris operated by its members. CGT organized several protests against the tax and had several politicians who were former members oppose it. The tax has already been removed from the country’s budget next year.

Only four nations — Ireland, Sweden, Chile, and Finland — actually have total carbon taxation today. The largest economy to ever have a carbon tax, Australia, repealed it in 2014 over concerns it was harming the economy. No country taxes CO2 emissions at the levels deemed necessary to substantially mitigate global warming as defined by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). The study found that even the most well regarded carbon taxes haven’t done much to actually reduce CO2 emissions.

Her's a tid bit you put in your hookah and smoke - The US was the only country to not sign the Paris carbon accord and guess what we're leading the world in reducing our carbon foot print :

According to the 2017 BP Statistical Review of World Energy, since 2005 annual U.S. carbon dioxide emissions have declined by 758 million metric tons. That is by far the largest decline of any country in the world over that timespan and is nearly as large as the 770 million metric ton decline for the entire European Union.

By comparison, the second largest decline during that period was registered by the United Kingdom, which reported a 170 million metric ton decline. At the same time, China's carbon dioxide emissions grew by 3 billion metric tons, and India's grew by 1 billion metric tons.

Thus, I don't think it's the least bit misleading to claim that the U.S. is leading the world in reducing carbon dioxide emissions.

So much for your loved and inefficient big government and class warfare!

Your types are nefarious and disgusting - "sadly ineffective" is also worn well by your kind!
