Tamson, the LDP is the rulling party in Japan. As for the SEA markets, these are not 52 weeks high, you are probably getting your data from Yahoo and they are quoting as the 52 weeks the high and low from the beginning of the year, not 52 weeks.

The revaluation of assets, if it passes (and there are a lot of problems associated with doing that) will give the yen a temporary boost, IMHO. However, I still think that by the middle of the year the yen would have traded at 140 yen/dollar.
