*** Still Off Topic, but getting closer ***

Mike,

We did go to Maui last time (2 years ago). One of the highlites had to be going up to watch the sunrise over the crater! At least, I and my wife really enjoyed it. The kids were a lot less enthusiatic, but what do they know!

So this time it's Kauai. I was there before around 1975, so it will be interesting to see the changes in the last 20 years+. And while Maui was nice, staying at the Hawaii houses (IRS tax cost around $200/day, my cost around $80 + taxes on the $100+ non-cash benefit received) is so much nicer than anything we could afford otherwise, on any of the islands!

Besides the Costco is 'close' by in Kona. Okay, it's actually 25+ miles away, but since there's so little traffic, it seems a lot closer! (See, C. lurkers, I told you that this post would be closer on topic, <g>)

As for the flame wars, the only possibility I see you starting one is from the Costco lurker that also hangs around the Starbuck's latte stand outside of the warehouse. <g>
