My in-store short of Apple in London was a delicious revenge against the evil empire.

I covered my short not quite at the low but near enough for government work.

A great delight to see made-in-China rules against Apple in favour of Qualcomm and good sense and respect for engineering prowess.

I am gathering respect for China which is run by Engineers rather than lawyers, hysterics and megalomaniacs. But China is merely less bad in some respects rather than harbingers of peace light harmony happiness health prosperity fun and love.

USA should not whine like a fleet of Koreans when China decided in favour of one USA company over another. I am very pleased to see Huawei, Xiaomi and others succeed instead of the thieving bastards in Cupertino at 1 Infinite Loop of self belief.

If both NSA and China have all knowledge about me, that's a good thing as they will know to adopt better behaviour lest they fsll afoul of me. If they provide backup to my data that would be good. Heck they could even sell me services based on their knowledge. But they had better not be annoying lest they find themselves looking for jobs more suited to their talents.

PS... I expect and hope that China arrests a few Apple executives for being guilty of being a ham sandwich. Quid pro quo versus Huawei CFO arrest.

Team USA is catching tigresses and butterflies. Doubt the Huawei CFO will be so easy to flip, but the timing is interesting...
