< As a major Intel investor, I'm hoping AMD does survive and Sanders still remains in charge, for the obvious reasons.>

Well said. As an Intel long myself, Jerry is our most valuable asset, after Andy of course. Anyone else at AMD's helm could actually make a go of it. We should hope and pray that Jerry stays in charge for ever and ever.

<At that point, it might be a good speculative buy on a possible buyout>

This is the only hope I can see too. I hope you and others will continue to post clear objective views on AMD's position so investors (remember, that's the whole idea of this forum) will be poised to take advantage of a possible buyout opertunity.

I would also like to say to all those loyal AMD employees here that I know the effort you have given. I know the blood sweat and tears you have shead trying to make your projects a success. I know the missed weekends, missed holidays, missed vacations and late nights.
You have given more that any human should be asked to give. You have produced fine products and deserve to be proud of your work.
I have been there. You deserve better than you have received.
