Jack,

The deeds of Jim Bakker are not to be condoned before he was sentenced, but aren't you thankful he received judgement in this life instead of the next? I have heard his testimony after he was released from prison and find that he has been purged from a lot of dross. When God sends his refining fires in our lives we either become bitter or submissive to his will, and to tell you the truth I see genuine humility in his case. Yes he could use prayer (as we all do) but he doesn't need pity because I see a trophy of God's grace. Also, I find that when you really spend time to pray for someone its very hard to dwell on their faults. -Chris
