"Pelosi and Schumer, and please pardon my description, were bent over the fence "

And they even held on to the ball.

That's rich. Let's see, who left the meeting and flung a file folder full of briefing reports across the room?

Those aren't the actions of someone who feels like he just bent a couple of people over the fence.

Then there's this:

Fred, your opinion reinforces mine that Trump held the meeting purely to show his supporters he was fighting for the wall, even though the odds are now higher than ever that he'll never get it. Most Democrats who watched the video perceived Trump made several dumb mistakes and boxed himself in on taking 'credit' for a likely government shutdown. They perceived him as weak and undisciplined , whereas you saw him as strong and standing up for your concerns. --Which I believe is why he invited the cameras in, in the first place.
Fascinating. A good example of polarization.

Well, greetings, Fred. Best I can tell you are new to this forum. I won't welcome you because it's clear you don't intend to be a member; just to butt in, tell us we are all misled; and, most likely, disappear into the ether.

Had you proposed a conversation, it might have been interested. But this post is simply unacceptable. It's one thing to have interpretive disagreement; it's another, and an unacceptable one, to get slimy.

For my two cents Fred, anyone who cannot see what a depraved, evil and ignorant tyrant and bully Trump is, and the destruction he is doing to this country and indeed the world, really needs to engage in some heavy duty introspection as regards both their knowledge of reality and their moral compass.

Both must be greatly damaged and not working well at all.

There is no other side to Trump, or the Republican' s behavior for that matter!
