ed, according to what Abbey Joseph Cohen just said today, total exports from USA equal 13% of GDP. That 13% is split up between Canada, Mexico, other Central America, South American, Europe, SE Asia, etc. You see, the % of exports to SE Asia just isn't that big. We in the US eat a lot of our own cooking, so to speak. I don't think Boeing will be laying off anybody; they're probably breathing a sigh of relief that they can make better progress on their huge backlog.
