The statute of limitations on Trump's campaign finance, obstruction of justice and criminal conspiracy to defraud crimes will not have expired by 2020. The presidency most likely does not possess self-pardon powers.

Trump can be charged the day he leaves office.

If found guilty, it would seem highly irregular for Trump to receive any less a sentence than Cohen as the orchestrator of Cohen's crimes.
