Their choice may be close the trade doors and default the debt. and from now on just trade locally with another local standard currency for local international trading, it can be Japanes Yens, or Chinese yens. Countries can import cars from Japan, Thailand can export its rice, and many other farming products. Import high tech products from Japan. Develop their own CPUs OS systems and PCs...etc.
