I believe it is most likely true.
Drug trafficking and people connected to it should be dealt with by an automatic death penalty It would not only slow it down immensely. But also eliminate repeat offenders. I was adverse to Canada's cannabis legalization. However I have never voted Liberal or Left wing. So I suppose my vote never counted anyway.
Criminal law and enforcement gets discussed around here periodically.

My surrounding family holds 7 police people. 5 active and 2 retired And it sounds 2 Grand children are applying to the RCMP upon university grad. Great career as far as I'm concerned. Certainly no shortage of work, Never face layoffs and pay , pension and medical is pretty good.

I investigated it when young but at the time height requirement was 5'10" I was 1.5 inches short. So I went into business instead. Worked out ok I guess

Canada is complicit in China corruption by sheltering crooks and refusing to send such back to China to face the law.
