I believe passing on any acquired characteristics, from one generation to the next, is the thesis of Lamarckian evolution.

I remember debating this issue with my childhood friend Bobby Herr and of course I was defending Lamarckian evolution and thought he was wrong-lol. Even today I cannot believe he understood the difference. We were only about 13.

I always said Lamarckian evolution is the perfect example of something that is logical and wrong-lol. But maybe not so wrong. I have read other studies that showed acquired characteristics being passed on?

Many scientists now believe the brain functions as a quantum computer e.g. Quantum Evolution by John Joe Macfaden a professor of of bio chemistry in Surrey England is one of my favorite books as it explains quantum physics better than most physics books.

Many mysteries yet to be learned.

If you read the article, they don't so much 'remember', as what they do is retain habits they'd developed to deal with a past event, teaching succeeding generations the habit, until newly devloped habits take their place.
