Ron, please keep an eye on S&P500 vs OSX for us. I seriously think the drillers are at the mercy of the overall market right now. OSX has strong correlation to S&P500 since early Dec. Would appreciate if you can update this very important indicator once every week. Thanks a lot for your work.

In the day-to-day volatility, people seem to lose track of the bigger picture. The concerns that took us all down here are still out there. Don't talk about a turnaround just yet. We should talk about setting stops to protect recent gains. We all like to be optimistic because we have high stakes in this game. However, in this overall difficult market (a lot of analysts say the whole 1998 is going to be like this), one should think hard about risk management and not just hitting home runs.

Ron-
If we're going to overbought on the osx,we have a long way to go.I hope that's the case.

My impression of late has been that for right now we are in a trading range and a bear market has not yet surfaced but it could.7400-8200 is the range.
