Skeeter,>MU is the low cost producer of 16mb chips.<< you say this is true by your own authority - and you have no sources other than what mu management thinks (they will not state it as fact). when you make the statement you have to back it up. This is not my conclusion from studies, this is what MU contends and other analsyts and commentaries posted on this thread have indicated. I do not have to prove, but I certainly do agree with it . That is my perogative. If You read the postings on this thread you would have collected the same information. Let your biases go and you might be more objective of the information being diseminated on this thread. I have said, time and again, it is not a simple task to obtain sufficient data to determine costs and ASPs on MU to accurately calculate their EPS. We can only ballpark it. You on the other hand believe with your oversimplified algorithms and third grade math can calculate and predict MUs future earnings to the nearest cent and that everyone else should be mystified by how brilliant and RAZOR SHARP you are to have this uncanny ability to do this. Skeeter I read the same postings as you, and maybe some other threads and news commentary,...but on this thread alone there is more than enough data to see that the Koreans are way behind MU. For Pete's sake they are using older fab technology than MU and can't afford to upgrade... that alone should trigger a flag in your little skeeter mind to say they will be more expensive. From postings here the big three in Korea have admitted that their costs are around $4.50(japan acknowledged as well). Skeeter we even had a debate months ago about whether MU could really be producing 16mb chips for as little as $3.00 as reported, I believe, in CMP or the like. We concluded that maybe $3.50 is more reasonable. I do not know what else to do with you. You just seem to sing the same old song over and over again about MU... and yet MU and the entire sector are constantly changing...sometimes for the good and sometimes for the bad. I am not a bull or bear, so I carry no biases to this thread. I call it like I see it and maybe I am right and maybe I am wrong. I am not asking anyone to agree or disagree with me. Everyone has the opportunity to share information with each other and then each individual can decide on their own how they will use it toward their own investment decisions. So if you eliminate your bias, read objectively, and keep an open mind to other peoples inputs you may just learn something new and see MU in a different way. Good Luck Trading DavidG
