I'm just curious is any body else getting the feeling that news and numbers are being leaked and front run.

Hi ML,

I feel the same way about GM.

They had to do the BK, the result of poor asset allocation into the subprime house loans. "Lost another one to DiTech".

I always thought GE's medical was another sharp division.

GE bought a stock I owned SBSE on a great acquisition. They also bought a water purification companiy headquartered in The Woodlands that was a great business.

I have no doubt there are some great pieces to the conglomerate.

Somewhere the decisions that Immelt should have been making, got lost as he was into all those presidential councils and should have been manning up on the tough decisions is my guess.

CEO power can go to the head!

None the less, for all of those retirees and GE believers who sadly held on too long, as the price recovers, ther will be a lot of people that say "I'm taking my lumps and sell off into the rise of price.

I'm afraid with all the outstanding it could well be a 6 year plus recovery.

Just looking at the chart : screencast.com

I could be all wet too!

No position. Poor management burying stuff and underfunded pension obligations are tough headwinds.

There are better plays out there.

Thanks for the heads up from an inside position - very nice of you to share your insight!

Bob
