We had a Commissioner a while back that started but forgot to sell all of his stock in the telephone co. he was working for perviously. I think it was just before I arrived here, but there was quite a "tempest in a teapot." Yeah, I can't short T even though I don't have much to do with phone issues. I don't have a futures account and I'm afraid of anything that can lose me more money than is required to open the investment. Don't know anything about the options -- is that the same thing as an index option. I've got a book on options at home -- perhaps I'll read up. Shorted some CLX yesterday -- seemed like a low-risk bet. Expect that I've been called out of my largest and only tech holding as of Fri. Close was 5/16 above the calls I had sold. Quite happy with that outcome as I have a lot more cash on the sidelines now.
