I'm new to this thread. I do own shares in FAMH.
I just started investing 13 months ago(holding
my own).
This morning i came accross some news on
business wire. One of the companies mentioned
on this news report SOS STAFFING SERVICES.
I'm assuming this is the same kind of company
as FAMH. The symbol is SOSS on the nasdaq.
Take a look at the 1 year chart on this co.
It makes me feel very confident about FAMH!!
How about anyone else?
Great to be onboard,
Bidder

Tim,

The first half financials showed 1.26 million earnings on 4.15 million in revenues (Brad Post, #132). Suddenly they jumped to 1.3 million earnings on 1.7 million in revenue in the third quarter (Cheryl post, previously cited). Unless they abandoned their temp services, these third quarter earnings didn't happen... I've been through that half a dozen times here, but few people seem to have done the math. Those who have become pretty uneasy... see some of the recent posts.

There is no 2.8 million/2.0 million problem that I can see. It's not that bad.

BTW...If you were running a company, wouldn't you LOOK at the stuff that you were sending out to brokers (i.e., investors packets)? Who do you think is ultimately responsible for how the company presents itself? PR firms don't make their own bizarre calculations... they print exactly what they are told to do. That's their job. Blaming Firamada's problems on "bad PR" is a red herring, but I see many people have snapped it up.

You say you think the numbers are basically, lies, but you are "comfortable" with the investment? I don't follow your logic. They lie to you now, but they'll tell the truth later? How could Ira, with his supposed "20 years in finance," have believed such returns?

The truth can only look worse. They will never claim such numbers as 1.3/1.7 again.

Prediction: When the audited financials come out, they'll blame their accounting firm for the past inaccurate numbers and fire them.
