I think that you can use one data injector per MPEG2 channel, or at least one per transport stream. Dave, correct me if I'm wrong. More on TCI............

TCI's clever strategy

By licensing both Sun's Java and Microsoft's Windows CE/WebTV this past
week, Tele-Communications, largest U.S. cable operator, clearly expects
the two competitors to tailor their technologies to the cable industry's
yet-to-be-finalized OpenCable specs. "It's a very shrewd business move on
the part of TCI," one hardware exec tells Junko Yoshida of EE Times.

"TCI has essentially set up a horse race between two very motivated
companies" to complete the task of creating low-cost, flexible set-top box
architectures in a multi-vendor and modular environment. Microsoft is
making an equally strategic move, since it aims to seize control of digital TV
and dominate the consumer electronics platform with Windows CE.
