koan, None of my clan agree with the Pelosi thing. But she has done a lot more things right than wrong and her ideas are spot on, from an optimum social scientist point of view as to what makes for a healthy, happy and moral society. I agree with her about not having only corporate interests on their training sessions but the only other news piece that I have seen was the Pelosi thing. Lets see what she eventually does right or wrong but the first impression was a negative one. Every single issue she has championed is shared by the progressive community. But this is like steering a big ship and she knows it and said so. She said I have an ideology, but know that the path to get there requires compromises. The fact she made that distinction shows great maturity. Maybe I missed it but I didn't hear her talk about compromises in that piece you posted the link for on youtube. If she said that, then that is a good thing.
