We don't disagree about the advantages of Medicare for all as opposed to even the best version of our present system. The problem is that the politics of getting there are so difficult, they can endanger the trip. Ezra Klein's rendition of those problems is about the best I've read. Well worth considering.

You know, Koan, I know that that is a typo, you mean Medicare for all, but the fact is that Rs will pounce on your typo and will say, Yeah, if Democratic policies are put in place, we will all need to be on Medicaid because they will destroy the economy.
