You say AOC doesn't understand how government expenditures work, but I understand how they work and so do many progressives and her ideas are not nuts, but right on. I did state budgets in Alaska for over a decade and I am pretty good with federal budget understanding as well.

As mentioned, if the Republicans can piss away 20 trillion dollars on tax cuts for the rich, stupid wars and give aways to corporations, we Democrats can sure as hell spend 20 trillion dollars on universal health care, free education and needed social services for the poor.

She doesn't understand anything about how government expenditures work and she wants to make radical changes in them. If she had any real sense, she would try to learn as much as she can before opens her trap. Instead, she believes not only that she knows best, but that she can blow past all of the vested interests in the current system and get her ideas enacted.
