This site has good info on anything connected with space. You can even get on an e-mail list for a fee. Here is an excerpt on Skynet. No problems according to them and I have found them to be very current.

launchspace.com

"I rocket successfully placed a United
Kingdom military communications satellite
into orbit at 7:32 p.m. eastern time (0032
UTC) last night, January 9th.

Matra Marconi Space built the satellite,
Skynet 4D.

It is the first of three spacecraft replacing
the existing satellites in order to extend
the Skynet 4 communications system.

The Stage 2 satellite is an enhanced version
of the existing Skynet 4 satellites and two
similar NATO IV spacecraft.

The new version incorporates steerable
antennas for super-high-frequency spot-beam
communications, increased power and greater
anti-jamming capability."
