< HCOM > Short Selling and Short Covering I was refering to was those that Shorted the stock Friday, as well as short sellers from the past.
I think that much of Fridays volume was short sellers jumping on a stock whos price was dropping, and adding much to that drop.
Those short term Short Sellers will want to cover ( BUY ) their positions very soon.
If the company makes some kind of positive statement Tuesday, the Shorts will be running for cover. IMO

I would be very interested to know what the short interest is now.

They obviously were burning money and needed the financing. It is interesting that the financing they acheived was tied to the price of the stock and that the stock happened to rocket before hand.
