< HCOM > Short Selling and Short Covering I was refering to was those that Shorted the stock Friday, as well as short sellers from the past. I think that much of Fridays volume was short sellers jumping on a stock whos price was dropping, and adding much to that drop. Those short term Short Sellers will want to cover ( BUY ) their positions very soon. If the company makes some kind of positive statement Tuesday, the Shorts will be running for cover.
