Microsoft Appeals Judge's Decision

REDMOND, Wash. (AP) -- Microsoft Corp. on Friday
appealed a federal judge's decision not to remove an expert he
had appointed to review technical issues in the Justice
Department's antitrust lawsuit against the software company.

Microsoft wants the appeals court to issue an immediate stay of
Jackson's order retaining Lessig, noting that Lessig already has
started reviewing technological issues over Microsoft's
objections.
