Don: As a broker, clients always asked me how I could stand just sitting there watching quotes all day. Fortunately for me I enjoy it. I don't watch CNBC or listen to music. I have always found it fascinating - not boring. I think the trick is to take frequent vacations or limit your trading hours on certain days. Sometimes I scan SI or some of the Day Trader chatrooms. For the most part I spend 80% of my time observing trading data. Gone Skiing:)

Some day's, like late yesterday l knew the market would tumble late, so watching the tape was similar to watching a fuse burn on a firecracker. I knew the pop was coming but didn't really know when..< Don't you have a qoute system with alerts?That is what I use.That way I don't have to watch the market the machine does. David
