Darth, that was a great post. It takes guts to say you have lost a lot in the market. I lost quite a bit too when I first got in all starry eyed expecting to make a killing. But that is the price you pay for real entry into the winners circle. You have to go through the Refiners fire to come out shining like gold. When you learn the hard way you really learn. You have given really great advise in your post.
To all new daytrader it must be said again and again "The way to make money in stocks is to cut your losses quickly"
Hope is for losers!
If the market goes against you, get out!
You do not have the gift of prophecy!
Ride Trends identified by your chart's trend Indicators like MACD
Don't trade without Nasdaq Level 11 ( learn to use it properly)
Do a lot of paper Trading (Riskless Trading)
And for goodness sake, Cut your losses quickly!
